Getting Help Is Not Always Easy - We have no effective treatment for suicidal behavior in teens. That's a sad reality, and the treatments available for adults aren't much better. The single biggest problem with treating and preventing youth suicide is a lack of knowledge. A prominent Canadian psychiatrist once told me that child psychology is equal parts hokum and guess work.
